The value of Norway Post for 2007 was estimated at 14.4 billion kroner (NOK) and grew by 15 per cent between 2006 and
2007.
Handelsbanken Capital Markets was commissioned by Norway Post to carry out an estimation of value and activities. This was undertaken to gain independent estimation of the Group’s development and value. The capital value of Norway Post has nearly doubled since estimations from 2004, when the company had an estimated value of 7.7 billion NOK. The Group’s worth has tripled when compared to the first estimation of value in 2000. This estimation can be explained by Norway Post's successful implementation of the Group’s Nordic strategy. “The estimate is a positive affirmation that we make profits for our owners, and that our Nordic business strategy is heading in the right direction”, says Group CEO Dag Mejdell of Norway Post.
