Norway Post develops and delivers complete solutions for mail, communication and logistics meeting our to the customer’s needs. As a trusted third party we bring about an improvement in companies' business activities and a simplification of people's everyday life through three focussed key activities which are represented by three distinct trademarks.

Appropriate customer solutions
Norway Post Group serves a wide spectrum of customers, from private individuals, small and medium sized companies, large international concerns and governmental institutions, each with different needs, across the whole Nordic region. Some customers want one standardised product. Others want integrated solutions which involve several of our services in several business areas. Some customers want complete solutions, provided with the same high quality in several countries. Some customers want us to take responsibility for a specific function or process and develop it to improve competitiveness and profitability. Our philosophy is to give our customers an appropriate solution which provides the greatest value in whatever situation the customer is in. We deliver on our promises. A partner to trust. Norway Post, as a national supplier of postal services in Norway, has a special social mission. Our mission is to deliver precise, cost effective and wherever possible, environmentally friendly postal services with consistent high quality, across the whole country.

Multi-specialist and development partner
Norway Post offers a wide spectrum of services and solutions to meet our Nordic customers’ needs. This service and solutions expertise is organised in clear specialist areas. Norway Post will lead the way within each of the specialist areas we are involved in and which we offer our customers. With a starting point in our skills in understanding our customers’ business logic and processes, we develop appropriate and profitable integrated value chain solutions for our customers, where the specialist solutions are combined with the tailored total solutions.

The entire Nordic region is our local market
The Nordic area is seen more and more as a single market and our customers have organised themselves on a Nordic level. For Norway Post it is therefore important to gain a solid position at a Nordic level. Large customers seek solutions within communication, logistics, and other product areas which cover the whole Nordic area. There is an increasing demand for logistics solutions for warehousing and distribution which covers the whole Nordic region. Good service and customer relations in a national home-market are therefore not sufficient. The Group must have effective network solutions at a Nordic level to maintain a strong position in Norway.

Profitable growth
The Nordic business world is undergoing rapid development and change. A significant Nordic consolidation is underway among our customers in all our areas of operation. The need for new and improved solutions is growing. Norway Post must grow in line with the market to provide answers for these changes. We will therefore be pro-active within all areas of our home market's ventures. Profitable growth also means that we stand out as an attractive working environment for the Nordic region’s best talent.

International alliances
Norway Post’s basic ambition is to deliver world class service to the Nordic region. Many of our customers require international, and sometimes global, solutions which reach far beyond the Nordic region. Norway Post has instigated cooperation and alliances with leading international players in order to provide our Nordic customers with the best possible international solutions. And in so doing we have responsibility for providing the best Nordic solutions for the customers of our international partners.

These are two areas where society demands changes at the same time as the Group has good possibilities to make a positive impact for our community and our business.

Environmental responsibility
All operational sectors within Norway Post Group have for many years worked systematically and with great effort to reduce the effects our operations have on the environment. We have won several environmental awards for our future-oriented and environmentally friendly solutions. In line with the increasingly serious global environmental challenges, Norway Post has developed a new environmental strategy which steps up our efforts within environmental issues. The pillars of this strategy are to increase skill and expertise across the whole of our organisation, focus improvements of our own operations to achieve substantial and measurable reductions, integrate environmental aspects into all our business decisions, cooperate closely with our customers for new, more friendly solutions and engage all of our more than 25,000 employees in improving the environment both at work and at home.
